Mangsher Jhol or Bengali Mutton Curry is a traditional bengali meal which is perfect comfort food for weekends. The exotic and delicious gravy is made more tasty with plump big potatoes and also adding grounded spice powder to it enhances a natural flavor to this awesome curry. It is a fulfilling meal and goes well with steamed rice.

Ingredients –
1. Mutton Pieces 500 gm
2. Potatoes cut into half 2
3. Garlic cloves 15
4. Ginger 1 inch
5. Chopped onions 2 big
6. Green chillies slit 2
7. Chopped tomatoes 1
8. Salt to taste
9. Haldi (Turmeric) 2 tsp
10. Red chilli powder 2 tsp
11. Cumin powder 1 tsp
12. Sugar 1 tsp
13. Garam masala 1 tsp
14. Whole spices – 2 bay-leaf, 1 dalchini(cinnamon) stick, 3 laung(cloves), 2 chhoti elachi(Small Cardamom), 1 badi ealchi(Big Cardamom)
15. Mustard Oil 5 tbsp
