Today i'm showing you my version of Thai Basil Chicken! Its so hard to eat at home sometimes when some dishes take forever to make. Luckily, Thai Basil Chicken is a quick, delicious dish that you'll enjoy! If you're vegetarian or pescatarian, you can substitute with tofu or fish.
What you'll need (4-5 Servings)
For the marinade (By the way, marinating is optional):
-3 Chicken Breasts/Boneless Chicken Thighs cubed
-1 Tsp Garlic Paste
-1 Tsp Ginger Paste
-Juice of 1/2 Lemon
-Pinch of Salt
-Pinch of Black Pepper
-2Tbs Sesame Oil (optional)
-2Tbs any oil with a high smoking point
-1 Julienned Onion
-6 minced Garlic Cloves
-3 Dried Serrano Peppers OR 3 Thai Chili Peppers if you want more heat!
-3 Sprigs Thai Basil or any Basil
For the sauce:

-1.5 Tbs Brown Sugar/Any Sugar/Honey
-1 Tsp Corn/Potato Starch
-1/4 Cup of Water
To Pair with:
-Fried Egg (or whatever style you prefer)
-Rice (whatever type is up to you)
