A GLIMPSE OF VALENTINE’s DAY & FIRST DAY of SPRING 2021 IN AN ISOLATED LAGOON
A Bengali festival welcoming the advent of spring-“ Pohela Falgun” also known as the first day of Spring of the Bengali month Falgun.
We went for a long drive 60 KM from Mombasa Island to Kilifi, to celebrate “Pohela Falgun” & Valentines together as 13th February & 14th February, 2021.
The spot we choose called ”Mandharini “is an award winning development in Kilifi, having being awarded the "Best Development in Africa" two years in a row at the prestigious Bloomberg (NY Times) global property awards (in association with Yamaha, Google and Oman Air). You always can find out more details for booking on their websites.
Inside that resort, there is a restaurant named “Mabuhay” where you can find cuisine of Mongolian, Thai, Chinese, and Asian. It’s very much isolated Kilifi creek view restaurant. Food won’t disappoint you. Earlier, it was my favorite spot for lobster. However, as the ownership has changed to the new owner, they have added so many cuisines. Now we have varieties of options to taste. Just call ahead for booking your table & cuisine especially for Mongolian cuisine: 0758864907.
We had fun of music, foods, & dance. the storyteller video.
