1. Get comfortable and prepare to sit still for a few minutes. The Meditator should sit quietly and peacefully with legs crossed. After you stop reading this, simply focus on your own natural inhaling and exhaling of breath.
2. Focus on your breath. Try to keep your attention on your inhale and exhale.
3. Follow your breath for two minutes. Take a deep inhale, expanding your belly, and then exhale slowly, elongating the out-breath as your belly contracts.
Why should you sit straight?
The reason for sitting straight is not difficult to see. An arched or crooked back will soon bring pain. Furthermore, the physical effort to remain upright without additional support energizes the meditation practice.
That said, you may lie down comfortably in bed and drift off to sleep . Theta binaural penetrates the subconscious mind even during sleep to provide great results.
